Technology is instantaneous and allows access to information in real time. With the abundance of information students not only need to locate the information but inquiry based learning allows students to use creative ways to gain personal understanding and real world connections.
Students use multiple learning styles to construct knowledge from a variety of different sources. The Inquiry Based process brings together the common core subject areas, information literacy skills and technology that will promote critical thinking. The student goes from fact finding to personal understanding. The Library Media Center fosters an environment that enhances inquiry and educates the 21st century learner.
